Use this before you start building. Plan Mode helps Lovable understand your idea before generating any code. Think of it as explaining your app to a smart assistant.
Prompt 1: you already know what you want to build
I want to build [describe your app in 1-2 sentences, e.g. "a simple expense tracker for freelancers"].
The user is [describe who will use it, e.g. "a freelancer who wants to track work expenses quickly"].
Here is what it should do (max 3 features):
- [Main thing users can do, e.g. "add an expense with a name, amount, and date"]
- [Second thing, e.g. "see a list of all expenses"]
- [Third thing, e.g. "delete an expense"]
Keep it simple. No login required for now.
Once the plan is ready, add it to the plan.md file in this project. I want to be able to refer back to it later.
Prompt 2: you don’t know yet what you want to build
I want to build something with Lovable but I'm not sure what yet.
Help me figure out what to build based on my situation:
- I work as / I am: [e.g. "a marketing manager at a small company"]
- A repetitive or annoying thing I deal with regularly: [e.g. "I manually copy data between spreadsheets every week"]
- Something I wish existed but doesn't: [optional]
Suggest 2-3 simple app ideas that could solve a real problem in my life or work. For each idea, explain what it does in one sentence and who it's for. Then ask me which one I want to build.
Once I choose, update the plan.md file in this project. I want to be able to refer back to it later.
No login required for now.
Tips for beginners:
Ask Lovable to suggest a palette based on your app idea.
